mystats.music ("the Service") is a tool provided "as is" for analyzing personal music streaming history. We provide this tool for informational and entertainment purposes. We do not guarantee the accuracy of calculations or the permanent availability of the Service.
2. Your Data & Processing
You retain all ownership rights to the streaming history files you upload. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, royalty-free license to:
- Process history files locally in your browser memory for solo analytics.
- Transiently host aggregated insights (e.g., top artists and tracks) on our servers for a period of up to 1 hour specifically to enable the "Music Duel" synchronization feature.
We do not sell your data or use your listening history for advertising purposes.
3. Friends Duel & Display Names
When using the Duel feature, you are responsible for the display name you choose. You agree not to use names that are offensive, defamatory, or violate the rights of others. We reserve the right to terminate active sessions that violate these standards.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to attempt to disrupt the Service, reverse engineer our parsing logic, or use automated scripts to interact with the Service. You must not upload malicious files intended to compromise the browser environment of other users or our infrastructure.
5. Third-Party Services
mystats.music is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Spotify AB, Apple Inc., Deezer, or any other music streaming service. All brand names and logos are trademarks of their respective owners.
6. Limitations of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, mystats.music shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or special damages resulting from your use of the Service, including but not limited to the loss of data or the inability to access the Service during maintenance or outages.
